I absolutely love these books, and owning the full set has been a worthwhile investment as far as I’m concerned. Even though they were written in the ‘s, the writing and characters surprisingly hold up. Signora Adamo gets a brief mention but many of the other characters from the ballerija books aren’t in evidence.
